I’ve noticed that quite a few people still prefer using neckbands over TWS earbuds — and honestly, that’s completely fine. Compared to TWS options (especially in the budget segment), neckbands often offer noticeably better sound and mic quality. In many cases, the battery life is also significantly better.
Depending on your preferences and usage — whether it’s the fear of losing an earbud, the need for longer battery life, or simply wanting something reliable for office use — neckbands still have a solid place for many users.
I’ve updated this blog by adding newer neckbands currently available in the market. Unfortunately, there aren’t many benchmarking websites or tech YouTubers that have properly reviewed or compared these newer models. Because of that, the rankings in this blog will now focus more on features rather than sound and mic quality, unlike before.
I’ll also only be including neckbands priced under ₹2,000, since I personally don’t see much value in spending more than that on neckbands.
Secondly, regarding ANC/ENC performance on some of the options mentioned here, I can’t really comment on how effective they are compared to traditional TWS earbuds. However, based on reviews and user comments about the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 ANC, most people seem to agree that the ANC performs surprisingly well for the price. So, take it at face value and trust that it should get the job done reasonably well.
